iphone 4 no applications

Hello!

I have a very strange iphone 4: it has no applications in springboard except Cydia and Youtube. It is version 4.0.2 BB 01.59.00 and I can't restore it to 4.2.1 because it needs to be unlocked and I've got only 4.2.1 SHSHs.
I can install any application in Cydia and they work ok. Tried to run Poof as I thought the apps may be hidden, but no, I can't see the system apps there, only Cydia, Youtube and Calculator. This last one appears because I created a folder Calculator.app in the Applications folder.
So, I guess a solution would be to copy the applications folder from another phone but I haven't got another phone to copy from. Another solution would be to upgrade using a custom restore file to 4.2.1 and use the tethered jailbreak, but for this one I saw many pros and cons.
If someone could send me their Applications folder I could try to repair my phone, or if someone can confirm that the phone will still work with 4.2.1 I can flash it.

tried that too... nothing

if you have saved ssh to 4.2.1 u can upgrade to it but with costum firmware to save your baseband...and it will work normal inchalah.but u will need use redsn0w evrytime when you reboot your iphone.because it tethred device
