iPhone 4 powers on with charger connected - GSM-Forum

Hi all.

I met what possibly is my weirdest encounter with phones in all these years. this iPhone 4 was locked on O2. unlocked it officially. Worked ok and all was perfect. After 3 days its without power. I thought it was a flat battrey (even though it was full) so i tried to charge it. Batt connector does not show. However it powers up and keypad shows up with itunes symbol as if it was never activated when connected to the wall charger otherwise nothing.

When trying to restoring again using a windows system or OSX cannot do a proper restore as am getting error 6001 or 1200.

Would appreciate any help. This unit is like new so it is not tattered.

I'd make a Genius booking with Apple and let them have it back for exchange as it should still be under 1 year old.

Remove any Jailbreak and give it back to them.

no jailbreak at all. this has been officially unlocked. nothing illegal in it.
