Iphone 4 unborking
 

So recently my friend gave me a iphone to mess with. I wanted to get it working but it was stuck in a recovery loop.

I've been trying to get it out. Every time I restore it gives me a error(1)

but recently the phone won't even show anything on the screen. It used to show an apple logo or the recovery screen so i could throw it into dfu mode or something. but now its not showing anything except for a brief apple logo if i unplug and re-plug the battery. :confused:
