About SPIRIT, PHONEBOOK SIM cards and other ACTIVATION SIM cards

Hi!

I do know this as been discussed but some users actually say that the so called Universal Activation SIM cards still work...?

In my experience, I've tried several Universal Activation SIM cards on different CARRIER and COUNTRY iPhones and NONE of the SIM cards work.
They USED to work, but not anymore.

Does anyone has also experienced this?

Yes. I know all about the SPIRIT 2 SIM card. Changing the IMSI didn't work on my machine though, so I'm kinda suspicious about the usefulness for the SPIRIT 1 SIM cards.
The problem is that some people state that they still can activate using universal SIM cards. Personally I don't believe it but I just wanted to clear things out.

That's just ridiculous! The DIFFERENT SIM DETECTED issue doesn't happen with the 4.0.2 or 4.1 iOS; and limra1n only jailbreaks 4.0.2 or 4.1 iOS. That's an OLD patch! It works up to 4.0.1 firmware and on already JAILBROKEN and UNLOCKED iPhones.

Anyway, what we are discussing here is ACTIVATION for UNJAILBROKEN and LOCKED iPhones. Do you understand this?

Activate is to get you out of the Emergency screen, and the sim thing is crap.

so what you do is better and free and easier just download

and see how to install it
you will get Jailbroken iphone + Activated.
you will need to unlock but if ur baseband is updated u need to wait like 5 days.

thats it.

Limera1n and Greenpois0n activition and jailbreak works ONLY with 4.0.2 and 4.1 iOS. And how many iPhones are out there WITHOUT iOS 4.0.2 and 4.1? How many people DON'T CARE about iOS 4.0.2 or 4.1? Also, did you know that limera1n and Greenpois0n DON'T WORK with iPhones 3G?
