i received i phone4 desactivate ,, witch steps can i do to activate it or with version can i restore with it ?
i have tried to restore it with latest firmware but always i get erro 3194 , same problem when i delet host file
any solution please ???

try to restore ios 5.0.1 and post result.

go DFU save shsh with ifaith
when start dumping look at the iphone you will see your version firmware
then you have a choise to go 5.0.1 or just reinstall the old firmware

you can find the ios version by do that .

you simply need the orig simcard carrier to activate your iphone on itunes..

about updating with errors just put your iphone in DFU mode
-then restore to ios 5.0.1

it is better if u use snowbreeze 2.8b11 to preserve the baseband
then restore it using the CFW made by snowbreeze

if you use the CFW no need to use redsnow for jailbreaking
-you just need to use the ibooty to boot tethered
-open cydia and install corona untethered 5.0.1
