hi guys i am a newbie to iphone pls i need ur urgent response,i have searched the forum but could not find an answer how can i get a custom firmware from an original firmware and viceversa,when is one required to use custom or original firmware to flas or unlock? and to be able to do all unlocking and flashing off all models of iphone which firmware is one supposed to download i.e from 3.1.3/7E18 to 1.0/1A543A or am i meant to download all of them? thanks in advance

thanks but i have not got the answer to my question, to be specific i have iphone 2,1_3.1.2_7D11_restore i want to change it to custom firmware how do i go about it pls it urgent thanks in advance

unlock method depend on base band
so let me know the base band of ur phone to answer u clearly

it is baseband 5.11.07
but is there no software to convert any original firmware to its corresponding custom firmware this is what i actually need

2 linkssent are not working i dont want to download a custom firmware i know many links where i can get them i only want to convert from iphone 2,1_3.1.2_7D11_restore to iphone 2,1_3.1.2_7D11_custom_restore

Open redsn0w 0.9.4 exe and connect your iphone
Click browse button on redsn0w and select 3.1.2 firmware..
then follow the steps shown in the window of program
its so easy download & enjoy

i need it cos to use this method of unlocking which is easiest for me i need a custom firmware too

1- install latest version Itunes

2- Restore by itunes original Firmware V3.1.2

3- use BlackRa1n

4- Restore again custom firmwares V3.1.2

5- use again BlackRa1n

6- Run instal.bat
