I phone 3gs/i tunes problem. - GSM-Forum

Sorry but please don,t consider this a "re-post". I need help with this problem and i probably didn,t explain it too well on my first post. I had my phone unlocked and jailbreak ,from 4.3.5 off Vodaphone network,now on 02. to 4.1 (8B117) Now when connected to i tunes i get "error 0xe80000001". i was given advice to put it into DFU mode, this i did, then it asked me to restore, then update, i did not proceed for fear of losing my jailbreak and unlock , have you got any idea of what i should do to solve this problem, if indeed it is solvable . Thank you for your patience.

Very frustrating , not a single reply after 4 days. Not very helpful.

Make shsh blog using tinyumbrela and save it, after that you can upgrade it. In future you want to downgrade your device you can use that saved shsh blog. For more information you can login to YouTube and see how to do that.
