How to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3.3 - GSM-Forum

Hello guys,

I am struggling with getting the 4.3.3 firmware, so I can get a untethered jailbreak.

I started trying downgrading from 4.3.5 to 4.3.3 - but it was impossible eventhough I followed all sorts of guides on the web.

I then downgraded to 4.1 in the hopes of it being easier to upgrade to 4.3.3, but still can't get there.

I only have 4.3.5 and 4.1 SHSH blobs

What should I do?

make custome firmware 4.1 with sn0wbreeze then open tinyumbrella click on start tss server and restore to 4.1 custome everything will be ok. tested
or use ifaith 1.3.2 to build signed ipsw with tinnyumbrella saved shsh blobs then without opening tinyumbrella just restore built ipsw firmware. tested too

The problem is not getting to 4.1 - I'm running 4.1 already.

I want to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3.3 - that's my problem..

If not the firmware 4.3.3 SHSH, not flash the firmware 4.3.3.
I understand that you have 3GS?

Yes, I have 3GS..

What do you mean by this:

You can not upgrade 4.3.3.
Only firmware 4.1 or 4.3.5
