Need Help 4G stuck on Peparing iphone for Restore


today I got a 4g with mic problem, then I googled & I got the solution here iPhone 4 MIC Problem solution Part 1 - YouTube
after doing that device is in recovery mode, when I try to restore itunes stucks @ "Peparing iphone for Restore" after many time it gives error "1601" . It comes on DFU mode but not restores. it was factory unlocked and never jailbreaked. I try to restore to 5.0.1 as it was but not succeeded Pls any body help me as quickly as possible

Just restore to the latest (in dfu mode) and all will be ok. Make sure your using latest itunes.

I already tried to restore with current OS & itunes but it stucks on 'preparing iphone restore'

Put Your Idevice In Dfu Mode,And Pwned With RedSn0w.After It Check Your Hosts File From (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc) This Location And Remove External Line LIke that,
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
#127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com
After Removing These Files Save It.Open Itunes And Do Restore With 5.0.1 Orignal Ipsw File .Hope It 'll Work For You.

I've done all this already my dears, let me tell you I've been working on idevices for more than 5 years, I did hundreds of devices successfully so I did all posibilites already than I felt to get openion from experts, & I hope some body will help me

yes i tried with snowbreez and yes I checked in diffrent pc too. I think its a hardware problem but where is it I don't know so need help.

i had this last night using snowbreeze to JB my iphone 4 no matter what i tried to restore it would come with Peparing iphone for Restore and then error 1600 i know its not the same as yours but i resolved it by running snowbreeze and and selecting the iREB tab. let it do its thing then try restoring again

i think iphone is not connecting with apple server please try with a clean computer which you never used for jailbreaking or with tinyumbrella.

thank you to reply I did it many time but in vain. when I run iReb it works without going DFU mode this mean its already in DFU mode, and not changes this mode with pressing both bottuns
