hes right ...there is difference between activate and unlock.

I used to post about activate year ago when SAM started . unlock was discovered recently. Activation is when you use imsi and iccid of real network and phone is just activated no unlock.

you have chosen Wrong thread title. Activations and unlock very confusing for many members who are already pissed that Apple screwed their chances to redeem their expensive iPods I.e iPhone 4s and 4 stuck on higher basebands or locked by contract.

Search for bundle and use that.manual method will work if you have original iccid and imsi. goodluck
