Redsn0w Get’s Updated Fixing OS X Bugs Issues - GSM-Forum

Today iPhone Dev Team has just released a new update for their well known jailbreak tool Redsn0w which jailbreaks A4 devices, today the iPhone Dev team has just announced on their official blog that they have released a new Redsn0w update version which brings the Redsn0w software to 0.9.10b6b. While if you are asking what’s new in this version I would tell you that there is nothing new except fixing some bugs issues for those guys who are running Redsn0w 0n Mac OS X.

Here’s the most important thing that the report of the iPhone Dev team says:

“Update #1b: The OS X version of redsn0w has been updated to fix an issue for those running OS X 10.5.x or earlier.”

And as I said above Redsn0w 0.9.10b6b still doesn’t support any of A5 devices, so those users who are on iOS 5.1 will stay without jailbreak for a while, but the A4 users on the firmware are still limited to a tethered hack. So right now if you are facing some problems with Redsn0w I advice you to install latest versions of Redsn0w on your Mac computer.
