hi, i have iphone 4S 5.1.1 open with gevey sim Ultras S

can i restore to 5.1.1 or 6 without changing base band to keep it compatible with gevey sim Ultra S??

Bro Just do factory unlock and do what ever you want

It can only preserve baseband for ip4 not for ip4s

What about Sn0breeze? I am not so sure about 4S, because I have only been a 3GS and 4G user, but obviously there are some problems with 4S, but are you sure guys?

no you can't even use sn0wbreeze for ip4s cause there is no bootroom exploit for ip4s(PWN DFU Exploit).
And you know without DFU you can't restore a custom....firmware

Yeah, now is clear. The A5 and A6 chips are problematic at the moment ... namely 4S and 5

let me add some more info to your knowledge A5,A5x,A6 are not supported for preserving baseband and all don't have any bootroom exploit yet,There is no PWN DFU mode for device which have these chips

now with Redsn0w 0.9.15b2 it's possible to restore with iOS 6 withowt changing base bande for i3GS, i4 and i4s

The Answer is NO you can't preserve the baseband of iphone 4s even you Re Restore it to 5.1.1.
