My iphone 4 dont enter in dfu mode

i have an iphone 4G 4.0.2 from AT&T it cant enter in dfu mode, i want to know if someone can help me?

i have looked but when i hold home button and power a few second after relase power boutton and keeped pressed home boutton my phone reboot in recovery mode.

turn ur iphone off by pressing power button..then wait 5 second..then again press the home button for 5 to 8 second and connect ur usb cable while home button pressed..simple

Don't worry senegalgsm|sathyalinux
you need a watch to do it correctly,or double click on Date/Hour of your computer

1-Hold POWER and HOME button for 10 SECOND no less no more than 10 SECOND
2-After Release the POWER button and keep holding on the HOME button for 15 SECOND and you should be now in the DFU mode

If you get the recovery mode you are holding the home and power button for more 10 secaond so you need a watch
If your phone start normaly and did not get in the DFU mode you should have a problem in your home button (it does not respond correctly when holding it)
If your phone stay on black screen like it's power off you are in DFU but yu computer did not detect it so search for a new device in your control panel

na..the exact solution..remove apple mobile device support..that means usb driver for apple..then reinstall ...

doing the same thing from 2 days i tried for more than 100 times, if timing is the problem i tried all possible combination around 10 sec so atleast i can succeed once if it was the problem because of the thing what u said thanks.

i think that is a default problem coz my iphone is direct from apple store it a new iphone i cant understand why it CAN ENTER IN DFU MODE, i have tried many times but nothing, see video everytime....

PLEASE HELP ME soft or to correct that default...

i have same prob. with entering dfu mode (iphone4 4.02 att)i tried every thing it is not timing problem also i change the home button any suggestion for this ı thing it's hardware problem

2. 3 Sec Power button
3 Press Home Button for 10 Sec (dont release power button)
4 Release Power Button while still holding the home button for 30 sec

to enter in dfu mode,do it for 1 to 3 times it will works for a while

I have the same issue. In addition when the USB is connected to my PC, I can power down the phone but it automatically powers up preventing me from having a chance to hold the power button to power up.

ITunes restore fails at firmware restore and all software like tiny umbrella, redsnow etc...all want dfu mode to do anything.

The phone has never been broken and started this during Itunes update to 6.1.

It would be nice if someone new how to get us into dfu when our phones are in an infinite power up loop and infinite restore mode.

I have tried all the "tricks" and I am very computer literate and nothing works.
