solve this !! 3gs 4.2.1 with BB6.15 - GSM-Forum

hi
i have 3gs wnat to JB it untetherd
if i flash it with fresh copy of 4.2.1 it will give error 1015 beacuse of baseband
if try to flash it with custom to re-live it it will be untethered

what do you suggest

in error 1015 we cant exit recovery mode because it's 4.2.1
also if something magic will exit it i must active it by redsn0w !!!

First Put in DFU pwned with IREB 4.1
Load custom firmware 4.2.1 without baseband
Jailbreak With Redsn0w

Flash it with custom firmware 4.2.1 activated using itunes
JB with greenp0ison
Unlock it with ultrasn0w
That's it
P.S. i did it my iphone this way and it works flawless

the iPhone is locked so cant active with iTunes !!

if you can't find the custom firmware activated there is a sticky in this forum section about all apple fw

Man these are the the steps:
- there is no custom activated ONLY 4.1.2 cutom restore with that (because of you baseband you will not be able to use original IPSW)
- JB with 0.9.6b6 ofcourschoosing 4.2.1 fw I meen install Cydia.
- JB once again by ticking boot thetered.
- JB with GreenPois0n( DO NOT RELEASE THE HOME BUTTON BEFORE IS HAS FINISHED)
- Cydia> Ultrasn0w
If GPois0n fail's try and try and try(server overloaded)

That's all

i want to know if this method works.. also test the GPS function ..
i also got 3gs with bb 6.15 ,, works fine except the gps
