strange iphone 3g - can't unlock! - GSM-Forum

I have an Iphone 3G , I tried to unlock it, but i canot install the ipad baseband.
I jailbreak it, everithing is ok, IMeI, Bluetooth, WIFI, ICCID are ok, but the modem still stay at 05.15.04. I tried to rewrite the 06.15 ipad baseband , no error(s) in redsnow but still no change. Phone was 4.2.1 i restored it at 4.1 but still same.
I have no ideea how to solve it. I did many pcs but never faced this issue.

In tinyumbrella in advanced options UPDATE iphone baseband. Give that a try.

Why install ios 4 in 3g in the first place? you sure its not 3gs?

restor to 4.1 and update the baseband to .6.15.00 if still the same so clean your PC with ccleaner or any program reboot your PC and repeat it will be ok. if no change your computer.

In umbrella/advanced I only have the option for update Iphone 4 baseband, I repeat, I have a 3G ( not 3gS )unit. The phone comes to me with 4.2.1 already installed, I installed 4.1 just to see if it will be any difference.

This is exactly what I did, phone was 4.2.1 i installed 4.1 , jailbreaked it with ipad baseband option , everithing went fine but baseband didnt changed. I have already tried on 2 windows pc and 1 mac, same result.
