Transfering Songs From Ipod To Computer
 

Does anyone know of a way of copying/transfering music stored on your ipod (touch 1stgen) from that device onto you computer.........???????
I have recently experienced a computer problem and lost all data from my hard drive.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's a shareware, I just know it has trial version,or u can use google to find its free serial ;)

if your computer is windows, just follow the above guide

Authorise you iTunes account on your computer and it will let you sync your purchases back to it. It's under the store tab at the top...

Connect the iPod to the computer by plugging in the data cable into one of the USB slots of your computer.
Now a window will pop up which will give you options like open the drive, play music, etc. If you don't have 'auto run' you will have to go to 'My Computer' and open the iPod drive by double clicking on it.
Now you have to enable the viewing of hidden files and folders. For doing that you will have to click on the 'Tools' tab on the menu bar which will give you a drop down menu. From this menu select 'Folder Options' from which you have to select 'view' and check the 'show hidden files and folders option'.
Now in the iPod drive you will see a new folder named iPod_control. There will be more folders inside this folder from which you have to select the 'Music' folder.
There you are! Now select the music you want to move to your computer and copy-paste it on your computer drive.
