Iphone 3g v4.0 no network - GSM-Forum

Hi guys

I have Iphone 3G 16gb its locket to Telia (sweden) and I dont have a network in it ... itried everything like downgrading to 3.1.3 or upgrading it but no hope at all ... Any ideas that might help me i would realy appreciate it

GO TO CYDIA AND ADD THIS SOURCE:SiNfuL iPhone Repo
and install new ultrasn0w 9.3 not old version

Bro it doesnt show network even with Telia simcard in it and the info is
Version 4.0 (8A293)
Modem Firmware: 05.13.04
Model: MB496KS

well it doesnt work with Telia simcard also and i jailbreaked it and installed ultrasn0w 9.3 and no hope

try to reset ur network setting with ur desired sim inserted....hoping this helps

nothing is going to work i have one here with the same problem and i tried everything the only sim card it works with after jailbreakin and unlock is the tre(3) sim card which is the original sim card that it comes with no other sim cards work.....and i tried eveything in the book to try to get it to work but no success

Mate u don't unlock ur phone , if phone work with original sim card and with others don't work , try to search this forum u will find solutions .

the problem is not the unlocking or making it jailbreaked i dont wanna do these things i just wanna get a network signal in the Iphone using the original simcard and i dont think its a hardware failure cause when i do a manual search it shows networks but i cant register my original simcard in any of it

listen to me friend.....when i do the jailbreak with spirit and unlock with ultrasn0w everything went well then i put in a simcard from lets say comviq it shows sweden 3g but no signal.......so you telling me the phone is still locked.....well if you know of any other way to do this please direct me to it.......and also you can do a search of your own and see how many people suffering from the same problem

Even when i unlocked it ... it keep saying no service even with the original simcard

this one click unlock is still using ultrasn0w to unlock......all they did was changin the skin ultrasn0w.....lol still doesnt work
