Hello, i have a used iphone 3g on 4.2.1 and want to unthetered jailbreak it without losing all my data or corrupting the phone. Can anyone tell me how to do that step by step? Thank you.

yes you can it is safe if your phone is activated and you don't want to unlock it because its a jailbreak only if you want to unlock you have to use redsnow to upgrade your base band for unlocking ............

i checked out the site and am not familiar with jailbreaking process with redsn0w so can someone point me out to a tutorial also just need to know if i will lose my data after jailbreaking in any way? BTW my phone is factory unlocked...experts please reply

if your phone is factory unlocked than you can use green poison jail beak without loosing your data

Are you sure i can use greenpoison, i did some research and found out its for ipod 3g and not iphone 3g? If i use redsn0w what options do i need to tick if i just want cydia?
