my apple iphone 3gs boot rom is 359.3
part no is:MB717LL/A
serial number is:85938GCD3NR
FW:3.1.3
modem:5.11
carrier:AT&T
i have AT&T simcard

can i update my cellphone to os4?
if i update,can i jailbreak my cellphone?
if i update,can i unlock?

i did reset my cellphone,all content.and it's stoped on apple logo.

please reply as soon as possible.

dont upgrade your 3gs in os4 is not unlockable. stay in 3.1.3 use spirit to jailbreak and unlock to repo666.ultrasn0w.com

Sorry for the late reply, but if you ugrade to 4.0 there will be no jailbrake for ur 3Gs at the present time. There is a trick to restore back to 3.1.3, contact me or use the search to get it.

Yeah right, he might stay on 3.1.3 but how if he did full reset and got stuck on the apple logo?

Itunes wont lett him restore back to 3.1.3 if he dont knows how to trick itunes.

And this can only be done if he had SHSH's blobs saved on saurik.
