Download the program f0recast.exe from iH8sn0w

Connect ur iPhone to ur PC or Laptop and run the program f0recast.exe

This will give you a model number.

According the ur iphone's model number we can see from which country it can be.

Post the model number here, or search for the carrier list and look for the model number.

hi i got same problem i dont know wich country or carrier my iphone4 is and i need it to activate it with SAM. i did the forecast thing and got "model : MC603"
any idea of where could it be from?
back side of the box has a box content sticker in spanish, is there a way of knowing the country and carrier?

If the phone is not used with original Sim before..
There is no free Tool to identify your Carrier This moment!
Can Ask any your friend who has iPhone operator finder service
or go for online tool to get your correct carrier which phone lock to..
may cost few 1-5 dollars.

i tryed a bunch of carriers with SAMpref installed from cydia but all fail, if i just leave it hacktivated and buy gevey sim ultra (im on 4.3.5) will it work?

yes ur iphone will work with gevey sim; but you have to reactivate ur iphone whenever it is turned off; that is; dial 112 and let it ring for 5 seconds then end call; go to setting, set airplane mode to on for let us say 20 seconds; then off and on till you see a message informing absence of sim; turn off and on again for 20 seconds, and suddenly carried will come. That's it
