Iphone 4s Activation Required, how to????

Hi All,

please i have an iphone 4s on Orange Uk. when i put in a local sim, it sees the network but with "ACTIVATION REQUIRED" message. i am offered to use mobile data or wifi for the activation process but i'm always unable to complete the activation process.

when i insert the original orange sim that came with the phone, i'm able to access the menu and icons without any problem.

please is there a way to bypass this "activation required" message or how do i go about it???

your help is keenly anticipated.

1. press home button until you exit sos call screen
2. dial 112, call begins when we press power button until it comes off the screen give you cancel and return to the caller hung up the call and wait a few seconds and enable normal screen
3. jailbreak with absinthe-win-0.2

not working, but thaaaank u so much beo, atleast i can enter the menu now.....

cant jailbread, coz absinthe waiting soooooo long... beginning jailbreak etc etc...


but as u sed i tried press menu and calld 112, now iu can acces menu items, thnx

Look this is the solution :

try this link and download Absinthe for there and close all ur application when u do it

it works 100% i done it many many times without haveing any problem

hey man // absiinthe cant jailbreak unactivated iphone 4s, for activation we need original sim, here original sim is not available, so please always check wht the question is, and study the scenario... thn 'help' pls not like this,

i think if you read MarKus85's post carefully, you'll see what he means. absinthe jailbreaking process is a bit slow but it works. i have managed to jailbreak mine only i can't get out of this "ACTIVATION REQUIRED" screen.

try jailbreaking and see the results.

activation required is the villain , it wont go... i waited hours in front of it..... it wont,,,,,, so do u saying tht slow means it will take wht time ???????
