What is tethered mode


What is tethered mode ?. when do you use it during Redsnow ?.

Tethered mode is when you have to use Redsnow to boot the iphone in jailbreak mode. You have to use whenever you boot your iphone. It ***** when you are not home and battery died or your phone stuck and reboot itself then you wont be able to use the jailbreak.

Tethered means that the jailbreak needs to be reapplied every time you power down your iPhone . If you let the battery run to zero or restart your Iphone then you will need to reapply the jailbreak by connecting to your computer (tethering) and running Redsn0w again.

Thanks for the info could u please tell me how can we avoid this restarting using the computer. Where in the iphone would restart on its own.
