CiPhone (3G) firmware modding question
 

Hi there :-)

Yesterday I was playing around a little with a ciPhone firmware. I used a software called "Mtk_ResV1.2", I was able to find SOME pictures and SOME sounds of the firmware but definitely not all and especially not the ones I was hoping to find (the system integrated wallpapers) :(

Question: Is there any other other/better software out there that lets me modify this firmware??

Try this " http://rapidshare.com/files/15509968...itV11.rar.html " It more fun. I can find a lot more than Mtk resource from spider 1.2. But still can't find the one for wallpaper. But I can fine " Qwerty ".

but 3G FW for MTK 6230.

Can that 3G FW flash for device MTK 6229..?

I don't think so, I think the ciPhone 3G Firmware only works on the "old" ciPhones and (of course) the ciPhone 3Gs ;)
