Member: 792296 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 39 |  Correct firmware size? I was able to dump the firmware from my Sciphone Dream G2+. It has a MT6235 inside, so I used the MTK FlashTool. I wasn't able to do a NOR readback, so I went with NFB, page only. Should I have went with "page only" or should I use "page and spare"? Next question is, how do I figure out the correct length? I GUESSED it could be a 64MB firmware but I don't know? The readback went fine, so now I have this firmware on my pc. Is there any way I can tell by looking at it that I have actually used the correct size? Are there any pointers I should look for that can tell me if I downloaded the correct size or maybe too little or too much? It could very well be a 16, 32 or 128MB firmware as well, I don't know? Any help is very much appreciated :-) |
