Fake Nokia N95 problems

Hello everyone. Firstly respect for all the people from this forum. You are all doing a great job. Lets get to the point...

I have a fake Nokia N95 phone (says 8GB on it). The problem is it won't start at all. From what i read you can testpoint it. Is it like V360? The phone is not detected from any software. What can i do? Any solution! Oh and can i do that without a box?...

Regards, komAk

Try plugging in the cable firstly, is there any life in the device if you do ?

IF not then it's 99% dead and even if it's not you'd have to buy new connectors to bring it back to life.

Did it arrive dead or did you do something first?

I use the mini USB cable and nothing happens when i plug it. If it's 99% dead it's still 1% left... what connectors do you mean? I have the phone from my friend...also from a friend... i can't track where is the phone original from...
Thanks for the answer.

Okay it's dead if nothing is lighting up.

the only option you have is to load a firmware on but if there's no life in the whole device then short of changing cpu's etc I wouldn't bother with it.

If you brought it ask for your money back, if not then get a new phone.

Not the best way in the world but unless you a) can solder, b) have the spare parts and c) have time to find out whats wrong you're kinda buggered.

Have you tried running a multimeter over it to see where the power goes to etc ? (if u have one)
