Flashing infenion Cpu with CPF Dongle

As a new poster i am giving an account of how to flash infenion cpu with cpf dongle. Though the feature is well known to many people. But i still believe that there are some guys left to know much more about it.


At first i'm giving abc about infenion cpu ----------------------------------------

Unlike other cpu's such as MTk infenion doesn't support the ffs formating. Thus when a phone set comes to u ( Only Software prob.) you may not use the formating option. Therefore you have to write full flash with perfect flash file. And as to me to flash infenion cpu CPF dongle is best.


Before flash:


To go with cpf flashing option you must set or identify the RX TX of the phone. To do so Pinfinder is best option or cPF Box ii can be another. Those who don't have that option use free cable to set RX tX from the phone or use those box which can set the rx tx for the phone such an example, if you have MTK box or Spider box and you are going to find out the MTK cpu rX TX, in MTK box connect the phone and read info and when the software shows information it means RX TX are set or in spider set the cable defination. According to me about 80% chinese phoneset RX TX can be got by us by such ways. Or take advise from the experts near you to confirm wheather the RX TX of the phone is perfectly set or not.


Falshing with CpF dongle(Inenion CPu):


After got the phone sets RX TX now we are ready to flash infenion CPU with CPF Dongle.


Before that we must know clearly some things:

Infenion Cpu Category
Flash IC Category or brand.
and Flash IC Size also. suc as 16mb, 8mb etc.

in MTK Cpu we need this information to select the perfect flash file only but in infenion it's realy important to selecct flash file and to complete flash process as well.

in cpu category CPF Supports the follwing series till now:
7850 series
7870 Series
7880 series



you need to confirm the cpu series first. as example you have nokla emobile and it cpu series is 7870. if you r not confirm about cpu series just open the cpu folding and confirm about it then open the appropriate software. Just like that



first you set the com port that contains the pinfinder or box or cable connected to your phone. Naturally cPF aomatically find the port so no need to find it and the baud speed as well.
then just ensure the perfect flash ic size and Ic seies.






Select the perfect flash file and write it and enjoy

NB: without the perfect setting you may not be able to flash infenion cpus phone with CPF and sometimes phone connected well and shows cant write flash file or discoonected on the half way because of that reason so setup the configuration 100% according to your phone. thus Its a perfect solution for all infenion CPU
