IMEI problems of Chinese phone in UK - GSM-Forum

Guys, i heard that phones with certain IMEI numbers can not work in UK. True? If so, what are these numbers? And besides UK, any other places which have this IMEI number problem?

in Serbia also some IMEI is banned from operators so if you whant to that phone work must change imei

And also in Pakistan, India and in many more countries banning the Imeis of all chinese phones from network operators.
and the sollution is just Format then change the imei.
