hi guys , finaly i read ka08 firmware . i used usb to serial cable with the 2303hcx chip. used the rx and tx from the cable to pin 3 and pin 4 (phone) |

Ka08 firmware file Here is ka08 flash firmware file . http://www.filefactory.com/file/aha66dh/n/ka08-16_bin I used the mtk flash tool to read the phone. Used modified USB to serial cable with 2303hxc chip . The pinout that I used is : RX – 3 TX – 4 GND -9 |

Here are some photos include the method I used to modify the cable , I used Samsung e700 cable . Took LC12 connector and soldered 2,3,4 and 9 pin – I cast on the connector some hot glue to hardened it , then I connected the to some kind of array that gave me some simplicity to connect the other end of cable (e700 cable). Again the pinout for reading the flash file is : Rx – 3 Tx – 4 GND – 9 For flashing the phone just add the vcc + to pin 2 of the phone , vcc is the the red wire from the USB cable . http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9489/dscn0692j.jpg |

Hi... i have a ka08 and dissasembled original headphone... comfirmed... pin 1 is under the battery pins... confirmed with a multimeter tapping internal shields of the phone.. pin9 is gnd... 10-11-12 are L-R audio and microphone |
Confirmed 3,4,9 pin for flash. I can flash the phone, but I can't read the original. Can anyone helpme?? I go to "Readback" Start adress = 0x00000000 Length = 0x00FFFFFF Ok. Click on "Read back" button. I conect the flash cable, press ON Buttom and the flastool start. At 78% I Receive this error: http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/2347/errorzqp.jpg I need help. |
