What is STK? - GSM-Forum

My phone is advertized as supporting STK. Wht is STK? I could find no information on it with google.

STK means SIM Tool Kit. You'll find some settings and information about the operator in SIM. Now a days, most operators programme their SIM with some settings and information of them. When you insert that SIM to a phone and run, you'll find a menu for that SIM with different setting in it. This is called STK.
