Member: 1201891 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | bought one recently. it has given alot of problems, i dont think u can upgrade it, from what i read so far. flashing firmware is way too troublesome and u risk bricking it. some issues i´ve had: wallpapers reset once u connect to pc, on/off button gets stuck and sometimes locks touchscreen, music volume too low, earphones are crap, most java apps dont even work, theres no java virtual keypad...havent tried wi-fi yet have u experienced anything like this with your phone? |

Member: 1218310 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | JAVA: Over the Maximum install limit I have that phone. I can't install java application on this phone. I have error "Over the Maximum install limit". I am sure that java application can't be installed not because of file size limitations but because of some different reasons. I tried to install many applications of different sizes starting from 1 to 500KB but always got the same message "Over the Maximum install limit" as result. I am almost sure that there is some limit to number of installed java applications rather than installation file size. That is why I would like to get answers on following questions. Q1. Could you confirm that there is some limitation applied to Java installations? (e.g. limit on number of installed Java applications) Q2. If there is any limitation, is it possible to remove or reset it? What happens if I do Settings -> Restore factory setting? Will it remove limit on number of installed Java applications? |

Member: 846640 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | I don't want to bash anybody or any commerce, but *********** only sells crap, I bought the Odessey and returned it, they don't want to refund your money and the worst it's that they claimed that th phone was all right. I bought another phone from them and it was the same thing, only that this time I took a video and posted it in Youtube under their section. That's when they said that yes, there was something wrong with the phone and that they would fix it. What ever you want to do with the phone, make sure you take a video of the problem before contacting them. Now, to flash or do anything with the phone, you need a flash cable, drivers and a good flashing program, you can get all that here in the forum. As of now I have from *********** the Metro (it really *****), the Beatle (camera stop working), and the one that I returned the Odessey (worst of all). Good luck with your phone. PS. If in any of my statement I broke any rule, I apologize. But the it's the truth and as I can see I'm not the only one with this type of experience with this company. |

Member: 1388814 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | odyssey m56 does anyone know how to import a new network provider. this phone does not appear to let me connect to the network provider even though I put a new sim card in. The phone reads both the old and new sim card, but when it comes to using the phone it does not let me connect. Any answers out there. Many thanks  |
