Hi, i have some problem with this model, in fact sometimes this phone block itself and i have to reboot it..
there is something to do? can i update the firmware of this model?
if yes, what cable and software i have to use?

Just Format with any tool then Power on the phone and change its Imei
100% sure your problem will be solve.

thank you for the information, but can you say me how software i have to use? can i use original usb cable?
i have done only factory reset, but it's the same thing....

another thing, when i connect my i9 with usb cable, i choose com port and then few second the phone disconnect from pc, reboot itself and then reconnect again to pc...
what is this? in this case i can't format with mtk flash.....

i have installed MTK MT6228 CPU USB Driver.rar and mtk_6227__Driver_New.rar but is the same thing (i think my phone cpu is 6218)

do you have had problem to connect your i9 to pc?
what do you mean firmware with no java? is this dual standby?
my firmware has java (not 2.0) and is dual standby..

the model of the i9 is the same hardware, the only change is the software, no problem to conect pc on i9, is dual standby, java or not the software on java have some bugs , and some models have a error to charge the bateries ...

you can use spiderman box, universal box or infinity for flashing

i don't know how i can connect to pc with com port!!!

I have the same problem with i9. Just coonect your phone when you in dial screen and the phone doesn't locked. It solves the problem.

i have a i9 phone, its dead due to changing SIM mode to hi-speed.

i don't have schematics to build a cable sorry about, but try to find a technical support on your country, can be used a Infinity and Spiderman box
