How to change IMEI in Chinese phones? - GSM-Forum

IMPORTANT: that manual from Multi-box, but because all tools are same. If you can't find some bottons in your soft for PadFinder check please bookmarks in soft - you will find for sure needed bottons!

Dear customers! Some of our highly-respected clients faced the problems with changing IMEI in Chinese phones.
Here we want to give the step-by-step description how to do it:

1.Start last software version - Chinese cocktail 7.2 (at he moment)
2. Connect the phone. If you get this message:

"Press and hold power on button...OK
Loading Boot...
Box communication timeout!
Please check connections and reset box"

That means that you must reconnect the phone and hold the power on button till you see "Loading boot......OK"

IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have chosen the right processor type. In the example, the processor is 6226.

3. Read full backup - go to "Backup/Restore" bookmark => select "Backup All Flash" option => press "Backup All Flash" button.
Now you are safe and you can allways restore the phone from backup.

4. On the "Main" bookmark you can see IMEI ( in our example it is 111111111111119 ) and we want to change it to 222222222222229.
So we enter the wanted digits and press "Do Selected Jobs" button

5. Disconnect the phone, remove the battery, power it on and check the IMEI ( enter *#06# on the phone ).
Than start the software again and you'll see that your IMEI was changed:

Your IMEI is changed now! Very fast and easy! Enjoy our Chinese cocktail tool!

if I have a multi-box and spiderman, I can read the pinning by spiderman and use this software multi-box?
to Chinese phones I need some activation?
it is imei of infineon?
