How does PadFinder work with Multi-Box and Multi-Box LITE? Do I need activation?

PadFinder is fully compatible with Multi-box and Multi-box LITE. It means that you can use PadFinder to find the pinout for almost ANY cell phone ( Maxon, Philips, LG, Chinese phones and so on ) or set it manually if you already know the pinout in the phone ( for example, you know the correct pinout on the phone with a new processor ) you can point in the right place and RX / TX pins in two clicks!

PadFinder is a really Universal cable-box - can work with all brands!

After you have successfully found the pinout, you just run the latest version of the necessary soft ( from the Multi-box or Multi-box LITE's list ) and start working!

PROCEDURE OF WORKING WITH MULTI-BOX ( LITE )



1. Connect PadFinder to PC via an ordinary AB USB cable
2. Connect Multi-box or Multi-box LITE using RG45 Multi-box cable ( comes with the PadFinder cable set ).
* Plug the RJ45 to RJ45 cable into "Special" socket of Multi-box ( LITE ) and "MULTI-BOX CONNECT" socket on PadFinder.
*No need for additional USB connect.
ATTENTION: If connected like this, you must start any service tool of Multi-box ( LITE ) to give supply to PadFinder via RJ45 tyo RJ45 cable. If you don't do this, you won't be able to use PadFinder!
3. Connect the DB26 cable to PadFinder ( "Special" socket ) and to the phone.
4. Find the pinout using PadFinder ( see the manual ) OR use the CLIP function ( see the manual ) to save your time and for more convenience if the phone is MTK-based!
5. Start the appropriate soft of Multi-box ( LITE ) and start working!



IMPORTANT: No need for any activations to work with Multi-Box ( LITE )!

as i said in the video manual...i did it...

but in the Chinese cocktail phone not detected...

only searching

but in the PADFINDER it detects the pinout

please guide me...

also in the video manual...u add the process you do in the USB disconnecting and the connecting the USB to the Multi box and doing...

Please, answer the following questions briefly:
1. What phone do you have?
2. Do you use only PadFinder or some other device to work with the phone?
3. In what Mode (Unibox or Command) are you trying to work with the phone?

when i try to work the PADfinder with Infinity works very nice.....

i follow all the steps as you said in the manual...

only thing i doughted is the disconnecting the PADfinder and then connecting it into the Multi box...

i have Multibox lite with full activation..i have connectee RJ45 -Rj45 in the Special port in the multi...

1 . selected the Pinout using PADfinder

2. set the mode as Unibox mode

3. removed the USB from Pad

4 . Usb connected to the Multi box..

5. from Multi "special " RJ45 -RJ45 cable is connected to the PADfinder

6. now when i try to find out the phone from Chinese cocktail ...it fails

this what i did...

but the PADfinder works very nice and also very speedy...

works with Spiderman(crack) also...

Please, try this way:

3. START CHINESE COCKTAIL TOOL OF Multi-box LITE (!!!)
4. Find the phone pinout using PadFinder
5. Try to connect the phone and read info in Chinese cocktail

yes sir i tryed with this steps...

after the 3rd step..

after opening the chinese cocktail....i minimized it..

and when i try to open the PADfinder exe...it says..

" PADfinder box not detected.please ensure that box connected to USB.
Also switch box to command mode by manually pressing button on box."

what to do now..

Why do you need to open PadFinder exe? After you have found the pinout, you need to close the Main tool and switch the box to Unibox Mode. Than start Multri-box (LITE) Chinese cocktail and it will work.

OR

You can work with PadFinder Chinese cocktail if you have it activated!

I didn't tell not to open Main tool at all! All I wanted to tell you that you can't flash/unlock the phone with Main tool. You can do it with PadFinder's Chinese cocktail (if you have it activated), with Multi-box (LITE) or any other box with the appropriate software. You have told me the the problem was not in finding the pinout, but in working with the phone in Chinese cocktail - so I gave you the recommendations concerning this issue.

You can find the pinout using CLIP function as well. And the box saves the found pinout automatically, so the next time when you connect PadFinder you don't need to search the pinout again!

i have followed the procedure just as you said but i cant use my padfinder with multbox-lite. i can use it with infinity, otherfree software but not with multbox please help me

i have the same problem im a new user on padfinder i bought it today but i found out that my padfinder can only work with multibox buy using clip mode i believe this problem is general can multibox do something about this problem and tell me how to activate my padfinder to a stand alone box and the term

Same. After (3), how to find pinout using padfinder without running Maintool? And in the instructions, padfinder is not connected to USB but Multibox so even trying to run Maintool, it cant find Padfinder.

Ok, now I m using the clip function. After successfully with (4), but I failed at (5). Cant detect anything.
