Anybody has success with unlocking Nokia E71? I have tried all nokia standart presets, but the result is No network after some time. Please post only tested preset on E71 if it still possible to find.

dear we speaak yesterday with ICQ about this problem and my be u r handset its from USA imei 00 will not work with 900 1800

i am having exactly the same problem with6220 Classic UK '3' network locked piece as above and hav posted a thread and have tried all the suggested solutions but with no success.

Dear we did not speak about this phone on ICQ, i just asked you if you were lucky to unlock this phone, you just told me that NO. Besides the phones is not from USA, its locked ro 234-20 UK 3 and IMEI of course is not 01 and the is phone for sure supports GSM900/1800. You should have mixed something! SO. If anybody have success NOKIA phones with higher firmware version, please post here the preset. I think If we find the way to make tornadosim to work with new firmwares of NOKIA ( for example 6500s), it will also fix the problem with E71 and similar phones ,because this phones has no other firmware to downgrade as in the case of 6500s.

The same problem with 3120c, phones firmware version 6.20, no way to downgrade

Which carrier are you using that locked it? Sometimes AT&T will unlock phones if you give them a call and have a good reason for doing so.
You can get the Nokia E71 unlocked from the start:

so I'm sure it's possible.
