Thumbs down Is TornadoSIM a dead project?

To me, TornadoSIM seems like a abandoned project.

The cards have never been working very good with phones other than Nokia. And now it's not even working on new Nokia's either. And absolutely no firmware updates for these phones.

The only thing we get is iPhone 3G updates, and Huawei unlocking, which is pretty useless for me. I just want an update, so i can start selling Tornado SIM for new Nokias/new firmwares.

Example, Nokia 5310, 6500, 6220c etc.

You are wrong with 5310 and 6500. For unlock that models you should have Nokia firmwares not higher 4.81. Else phones will lose network after some time. 6220C couldn't be done this time by Tornado.

We just provide solutions, but at the end it is in the hand of the customer if he is able to use that solution or not ...

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=620310
We just add more and more VALUE TO TORNADOSIM (and we are THE FIRST AND ONLY TEAM TO GIVE VALUE BACK TO OUR CUSTOEMRS!!!) , and where last FREE ADDON WAS not even 10 DAYS AGO.

Also, for that NOKIA phones: just downgrade the mentioned phones to the indicated versions. It is just like that simple.

For whoever that is still not enaugh to get so much FREE VALUE back or cannot downgrade the phone, then we also can't help...

regards,
Gobi

So that is your solution?

That's good to know, because then i for sure will not buy TornadoSIM next time. Your competitors are working on updates, and getting new phones and firmwares working.

I didn't buy Tornadosim for Huawei data cards unlocking... Probably useful for some of your customers, but for me it's completely useless.

Work is in progress, but only when there will be a way - then we will announce.
Besides Advertisements, for the moment there is no other sim-solution ...
But of course -- you are wellcome ot try ... since hope is the last one to die

Ok, i think you are right about that some other teams maybe just make false advertisement. I just got very upset when you say "just downgrade, simple as that" - cause that gave me the impression that you are not even bothering about finding a new solution, since you think downgrading firmware is a OK solution. Downgrading is not a solution for me since i send the cards by mail, and customers won't send phone by mail to downgrade it...

I'm only selling Yessim and Tornado SIM. And yes, they are both bad on new Nokias, and all Sony Ericsson. For Sony Ericsson, it only works in less than 50% of the cases. And for Nokia, since most have new firmwares on 5310/6500/6120c, they return the cards and claim money back also.

My point is: Please start focusing on getting Tornado SIM working on new Nokias!
That is more important than Huawei updates, and even iphone updates.
