Unlock procedure
- MAKE SURE THE MODEM-SOFTWARE (the software you use to connect the DataCard to the internet) is CLOSED.
This means: you can NOT unlock the Data card if it is ACTIVE (connected to the GSM network) !!!

1. Connect your Huawei data card to your PC (make sure any drivers for the card are installed)
2. OpenThe software
3. Select the correct Phone Setting
• For E220 select E220
• For E618 select E618
• For E620, E628, E630, E630+, 226x, E270, E271, E272, E870 or E870X select E620
4. Now click “Unlock Huawei”

You need only Tornadosim security dongle and the software. That is it ..

error with 220 modem always this problem

When you press Unlock and the Com port -selection box is popping up --> then select the correct com port. Else you get this error.
You can use Device manager to check for the right port, or just try one after anothner, untill it is done.
