I have same experience with a F8331, try to flash with flashtools with older firmware and now is dead boot. Connected to PC says unknow device, somebody now any way/jtag to fix it? Have look around and now one looks like ready for that, Riff Box, Easy JTAG...

Didn't read news for F8331 up to repair the boot. Just in resume, all Sony has testpoints and is possible to flash the boot to recover them with the setool?

see up my post recover many phone when ur phone connect via test point just leave test point rest software do all
