W220 HW8 has nothing to do with ATT C168i. In fact, if You have UART unlock code, You can unlock phone with ODM Rocker without probs.

About W220 HW8, are you working on unlock solution?
Is it possible to flash on a locked phone an unlocked firmware? Will it be unlocked?

1. Start software
2. Switch to "Flash" TAB, and press "Add file"
3. Select file You want to flash
4. Press "Update" button
5. Connect powered off phone to cable and press "power" button on phone

That should be it. And NO You can not unlock phone by flashing full flash.

then, this procedure only serves to repair the W220 with software problem and to resetar the security code for example.

No, it is not possible. Only flashing is what's allowed from ramloader.
