My Nokia N95 8gb not detect by Ve-pro - GSM-Forum

Hi guys,
Would u pls tell me how can I format my n95 8gb phone with ve pro box? This box can not detect this phone. Does it need spacial cable for n95 8gb?

open ur phone then there are 4 or 5 pinout
connect there such as that
1 rx green
2 tx blue
3 vcc red
4 gnd black

i have more thn 10 types of n 95 board pictures. all differ in pin outs

all phones can't define ?? is there anything wrong with your box ?

how to check, whats wrong with the box.
most commomn cause is the DC power comming out of box.
how to check this malfunction is simple:
connect box with pc.
use multimeter with setting in it( 10 dc selection) then connect black and red wire that is comming out of box. if there is round about 4 dc comming out, noting wrong with ur box, but the fault lies in ur techniques, simply u need to read manuals, how to use it.
if there is no out from box then u need to replace the broken connection of power that are comming out of wire that is attached with the box(that holds all the cables that are pluged in)

Another model i.e. N95 rm-159 is detected easily by the box (with mini usb port) but it doesn't detect n95 8gb. what is the wrong?

i have the same problem with some 6300 ... i don't know what is the problem but i think these chips not supported with ve pro box

there r some tips for kg195 as well for 6300.
