Hi there!
I really need your help. So my htc one m8 had an issue with playing audio files (not only mp3 files but also basic ringtones etc. It didn't play anything audio related) and video files via the YouTube app. It also failed to recognize the carrier and wouldn't install system updates. So I tried to fix all that by flashing a Custom ROM (the Marshmallow Viper version)--problem is my android version was 4.4.4. so OF COURSE installing a marshmallow ROM only made everything worse. I couldn't even turn on wifi anymore.

Once I realized that, I tried to undo everything by wiping the device with twrp and ended up wiping not only all my data but also the OS. So now I have a device with no OS, which means I'm stuck in bootloader mode and there is my problem. Since I can't boot into my system I can't check my model number which I need to determine the firmware I have to install in oder to fix everything. I have s-on and bootloader relocked so I can't flash just any firmware. And I can't get into recovery anymore.

This is what I got from adb running the phoneinfo command:

Try to Flash Ruu via Sd Card Method!

I tried that too. But I can't move the file to the sd card, neither with adb nor via usb cable using another phone. I think the file is the problem. I can't unzip it or even open it to look at the content. It says it's not recognized as 'achive file'

Leave The File as Like Zip!
Don't Try to Extract it, They are Encrypted!

From PC Send File to Memory Card via Reader.
Put The Phone in Bootloader Mode and Press Power for Update.

Yu can not unzip this file frnd

1st yu need to pun in fastboot
then reboot to ruu mode by cmmd
Then send file via fastboot.


But givn file yu can not flash yu re on old bootloader so newer version files wont accept yur bootloader
