I don't have that problem.... it works fine... the only thing i did that was a little different was when asked to replace the hotsync manager i chose NO.

Did you have to do anything to the device itself or no... I did not, but was wondering if I needed to... I am gonna try for a third time soon... lol... after that I may just have to give up...

I already had a patched version on my palm so i did not make Installation install it on my palm..... that's it.

You mean you had BackupBuddyVFS on your palm? Is that necessary to make this whole thing work?

I guess tonight is not my night... BackupBuddyVFS is working fine on the device... I have now installed BackupBuddy 2to my PC four times. I did as you suggested (including restarting) and chose no to replacing the hotsync manager. I then synched. All went as quickly as normal; less than a 30 second sync. During the sync I saw a BackupBuddy Initialization dialogue box appear for a split second and that was it...

I am completely stumped...
