Member: 1037909 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Palm's ringtone manager is interupting mRing from ringing. Please help. I am running Palm OS version 5 on a Centro, and mRing will begin to play the ringtone when a call comes in, then the original Palm ringtone will just interrupt it. Even if I choose the "No Sound" ringtone, it will still interrupt mRing with "No Sound." I've used RingCare (but this app directs all ringtones to the headset, no good for the car), and this application somehow does tell the Palm NOT to use the ringtones in the Palm's Preferences. Is there a way to prevent my Centro from using the Palm's original ringtone manager and allow mRing to continue ringing? On another note, mRing will also play text tones twice at a time, a little annoying. What's up with that? |

Member: 1037909 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | OK, I've done a hard reset and installed the program with no worries, so there must be an application or database that is interfering with it. I've heard about Butler having problems with it; what features are known to interfere with mRing? Also, I've tried using other ringtone managers. Would there be any lingering databases from any of those programs (RingCare, Ringo, Lightwave) that would be messing up mRing? I'll do my best right now to see if all the other ringtone managers are completely cleaned off of my phone. |
