Blackberry Pearl 8100 Dead!!! - GSM-Forum

Hello mates i have a problem with a BlackBerry 8100 it doesn't power on, pc can detect it and i have also flashed with the correct firmware but still dead, when i insert the batt it powers the red led and doesn't do anything else, any suggestion please????

Hello mate, thanks for your fast reply but i have Searched in forum and didn't find the right solution and in this "FAQ" could't help me, because PC can detect the phone correctly but when i press power button just turns on red lights and does't power the lcd and keypad lights.-

ReInstall OS With the battery out connect the device to the computer http:///vbb/showpo...1&postcount=10

Thanks fo reply mate but if lcd were damaged, keypad lights should power on and this phone not responds to anything, just red light and doesn't do anything else.-

When it connect does it show the proper PIN number ?? Reload the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder ,
hope your problem will be solve..

I have the same problem but a bit worse, the pc does not detect my 8300 and when I insert the battery (full one) only a red led power keeps showing and flashing. os doesn't start. Is it a hardware defect?

I have the same problem, My BB is Recognize by pc and start flash but when said: waiting for device start up ( something like that) the pc dont recongnize the device again and said error. how I can solve that please!!!

I has same problem......maybe this solution for that... try dont put the battery 24 hours..and try again...but ur battery must be full charge. flash it and replace os.upgrade. if ur device often restart...must downgrade. ok hope this help full

i had same problem after someone try'd to unlock it by RIM(bad user program works great) unlocker (the old version wat's on rocker support i think) i did the orocedure again and "nuke" it with full erase after that having instaled the OS for it with desktop manager i put the OS back now the phone its working so you should try for me it worked , wish you luck too
