8220 flashing error plz advice - GSM-Forum

A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again.

Unspecified error encountered [J:0x00000005]

Please help bb 8220 always get this error when flashing,when i try with to wipe with MFI version 2.0.1.3 get fail...please help in advance

Have you tried wipe with JL_Cmder? If not, try it. After that flash it with loader.

Please can some body direct me with a link to download a new version of MFI setup?

uninstall DM and OS from pc,restart and then instal only only the required OS. then wipe the handheld with JL CMDER and then install OS by loader.exe.dont forget to delete vendor.xml file.

I did the same as u said but still get the same error,this error comes when flashing is about to complete,

Can any body upload a new version of MFI loader here for me

Its communication problem. Use short USB and use direct USB w/o USB hub.
