8520 Not unlocking - GSM-Forum

The phone was working well with a Digicel(jamaica) sim card and the person inserted a claro(jamaica) sim card and the phone started asking for MEP code on boot up
After I enter the Mep 2 unlock code generated by the Furious box the phone freezes, when i do a battery pull the phone is still asking for unlock code and the counter is still at 10. If a wrong code the phone just restarts

Please assist me

Wipe the phone first and try. If it cant work then reinstall the OS then try again

i 2nd doing a wipe of the phone.....post ur results

Phone wiped using bbsak and OS Reloaded 5.0 and same results?
Phone wiped using Jlcommander and OS Reloaded 5.0 and same results? I wonder if the phone is lock by one of the specified the carrier digicel or claro? My vendor ID is 373.
