sir i got black Barry 8310 from uk voda fone its got network lock want to unlock but when i use this method
1 Insert SIM card into the device
2 Power on the phone and turn Wireless Off
3 Go to "Settings" then "Options" menu and select "Advanced options"
4 Go to "SIM card" then press the jogdial to select it
5 Type MEPPD. Please note that you will not see what you type on the screen.
6 Type MEPP2. You will not see text appear on screen while typing
Press ALT and 2 simultaneously to get number 2.
7 Enter unlock code
8 After entering the code press the trackball once
9 Your phone is unlocked

but wheni writ meppd mepp2 but its shows nothing on secrren how many locke . and lock maenue i unlocke lot of black barry but this only keep sowing whit screen plz help and now wir less on of option in menue plz help

try again after reset your blackberry by this way > Settings > Options > Advanced options > security options > then enter wrong code 10 times your phone will reset code after enter (blackberry) in case of code that's all

hold shift while entering mepd it should appear

hold alt while entering mep2

can't remember everything well but i unlocked 1 unit from cingular few days ago.

i went to security options but i dont any thing that i put wrong or right code any advice plz

1st reset by this way > enter wrong code 10 times your phone will reset code after enter (blackberry) in case of code that's all , after read point no 21. how to remove IT policy ? for security options form blackberry faq
