Debranding Blackberry - Any SOLUTION?

Has anyone gotten mml to work on a bold WITHOUT throwing an error? I managed to debrand, but there are some other things I'd like to do with mml becuase of the errors...

Finding vendor ID is easy... Alt>crtrl=>H

but where is the mapping of vendor IDs to VSM files? (ant vendors)?

8830 is unlocked but still has Verizon vendor ID.

found the ATT VSM file names (number), but get following error message from MML upon loading:

"Feature not supported by firmware version command: 0xff40. Can't get confirmation. Cannot query if feature is supported. Cannot set branding info. Cannot load VSM file."



Any debugging suggestions?

Do you have what VSM for telkomsel.... i manage to rebrand but now change to other vendor was 125 (o2 UK) and now 179 ( F100 )... so my gprs still small letter...

Did you put your MML folder on C:\MML
I have same problem before, because i put it on drive D:

Did anybody know the VMS file for Telkomsel ( vendor ID 186 ) ?

Or is there software to open the vsm file?

I manage to rebrand but it goes to another vendor and not my vendor ( i need to rebrand to vendor ID 186 )

If you have anti virus, try to shutdown also

Has anyone successfully debranded an 8900? I have a Rogers one that I would either like to debrand or set to AT&T. Can I use the same AT&T VSM that I used to change my Bold from a Vodafone to AT&T?
