i have a blackberry 9800 is water damage it,s working fine but know lcd not showing i change lcd as well but light is not comeing on screen?

A customer came to me this morning with a blackberry 8900 which was unlocked and she inserted another sim for another carrier and the phone requested an unlock code; however after using bb box to read the code, when inserted the phone freezes and then i had to take the battery out and reinsert it and still isnt working. what or how can i bypass this anybody????

the program is called mfi that the guys use at our advance repair center ive neva seen it i will try to find out more details
