from online I see this:

1) Self clean procedure
2) Hold power button for 30 seconds to hear double beep and all,
3) Dismantled, PS3, unplugged BLU-Ray and power supply, use a brush to clean up, ****n some air from my ***** and plugged everything together, still its the same thing.
4) getting into safe mode

additionally do you ever get a yellow light? that would be most indicative. Sounds like either Yellow light or power supply issue
