got it fully working for the n95 with easten canada and us maps!

is abit slow but the POI is 100 times better then route66!

You don't need GPRS for the navigation. You do need it if you want to get traffics or search for stuffs.

GarminXT, when it originally came out, only worked with Garmin GPS receivers, ie the 10x, 20 x etc.

They recently released a version on SD chips that will work with any bluetooth and internal GPS receivers. However, these were keyed and checks for the ID of the SD card and not Garmin GPSr.

With the added information, Notfaker managed to provide a workaround for the checks. Jetmouse found a means to bypass checks for locked maps, allowing it to work with the XT in the pack.

Given Garmins' exposure to loss of revenue, these will be stomped out pretty quick. So get the files whilst it is available. The Symbian only version lasted a matter of hours.
